Cookie Policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow basic functionality, remember preferences, and help the operator understand how the Service is being used.
How Jokifi uses them
The Jokifi platform uses cookies for the following purposes:
Essential
- Authenticate sessions and prevent CSRF attacks
- Maintain language and timezone selections
- Preserve safety-critical configurations
Analytics
- Understand which terminal modules are used most
- Measure load performance and tick latency
- Identify error patterns to prioritize fixes
Functional
- Remember saved exchange watchlists
- Persist chart layouts and column choices
- Store alert thresholds across sessions
Performance
- Cache table data between page loads
- Optimize WebSocket reconnection windows
- Track real-time render budgets
Third-party cookies
The terminal occasionally loads cookies from trusted partners:
- Google Analytics — aggregated usage statistics
- Cloudflare — security, edge caching, DDoS mitigation
- Exchange APIs — session tokens used to display real-time data
Managing your preferences
You may control cookies through your browser settings:
- Block all cookies
- Block third-party cookies only
- Delete existing cookies
- Configure cookies to expire when you close the browser
The first time you visit Jokifi you'll see a consent banner that lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or fine-tune by category.
Data we may collect
- IP address and approximate region
- Browser type, version and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring URL
- Module preferences and saved filters
Retention
- Session cookies: deleted when the browser closes
- Persistent cookies: kept for up to 12 months
- Authentication cookies: expire after 30 days or on logout
- Preference cookies: stored for 12 months
Impact of disabling
Disabling cookies may degrade the terminal experience: you may need to log in repeatedly, your saved layouts may not persist, and certain real-time alerts may fail to load.
Compliance
Our practices align with GDPR (EU), CCPA (California) and other applicable privacy regulations. We review and update this policy as those frameworks evolve.
Updates
We may amend this policy. Material changes will be reflected through an updated "last updated" date and a notice inside the terminal.
